Contemporary Lounge

Along with the owner and operatorʻs goals at the Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger to re-brand the hotel with exterior and interior sense of arrival experiences, OMIZU Architecture was able to redesign a former +1,000 square foot food & beverage space into a welcome concierge-type guest lounge for hotel guests to utilize during their stay. Partition walls were reconfigured, large opens were established, and a new wood-look ceiling was designed to modernize the guest experience. Walls and floors both have been improved to include technological infrastructure within a space that had no connectivity. Guests can now utilize this “break-away” concept space, strategically linked adjacent to the check-in and elevator lobbies as another experiential amenity.
