About This Project

OMIZU Architecture has been a trusted partner of the Department of Land and Natural Resources since 2012. We had the wonderful opportunity to assist the Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands (OCCL) with a full renovation of their +1,500 square foot office within the Kalanimoku Building . OCCL is responsible for overseeing beach and marine lands out to the seaward extent of the State’s jurisdiction. A refreshed sense of workstation organization has been acheived through, selection of hidden power & telecom via powered furniture, high-density storage, and the implementation of a “land and sea” concept through workstation panel fabric and new flooring throughout. Users are delighted to be back within a truly efficient workspace in post-pandemic times to continue their conservation goals for our State of Hawaiʻi.
