About This Project

April in the State of Hawaii has been consistently designated “Architecture Month” by proclamation presented to the AIA Honolulu.  Events involving bettering our community through good design highlight the month.  Family Sunday, hosted by the Honolulu Museum of Art, is an activity for children interested in design / architecture. In a collaboration with the non-profit AIA Honolulu,  simple chip board boxes, cuttings form architectural magazines, and tools such as scissors, pens, glue and tape provided children of all ages the tools to explore geometry, visual appeal, and craftsmanship.
